Because all Romancing Manhattan experiences are customized and may involve advance arrangements with transportation providers, venues, guides, or other partners, cancellation terms will vary depending on the experience.
The following policies outline the general guidelines that apply to bookings made with Romancing Manhattan. Any experience-specific cancellation terms will be clearly noted on the individual experience page and at the time of booking.
Experience-Specific Policies
Many of our experiences are highly customized and may include arrangements with third-party providers such as transportation services, venues, restaurants, or other partners.
For this reason, cancellation policies will vary depending on the specific experience booked.
Guests should review the cancellation policy listed on the individual experience page and provided at the time of booking, as those terms will apply to that reservation.
Rescheduling
Whenever possible, Romancing Manhattan will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests to reschedule an experience.
Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and may depend on the policies and availability of third-party suppliers involved in the experience.
Certain elements of an experience may not be transferable to a new date if they involve prepaid or non-refundable arrangements.
Third-Party Arrangements
Many experiences involve services provided by independent third-party suppliers such as transportation providers, venues, restaurants, or guides.
In some cases, advance payments may be required to secure these arrangements.
Once these arrangements have been confirmed, certain costs may become non-refundable. In such situations, refunds may be limited to the portion of the experience that has not already been committed to third-party suppliers.
Late Arrivals
Experiences operate according to a scheduled timeline. Guests who arrive late may experience a shortened tour or the omission of certain elements of the experience.
Whenever possible, our guides and hosts will make reasonable efforts to adjust the itinerary; however, the full experience may not be possible if guests arrive after the scheduled start time.
Late arrivals do not automatically qualify for refunds or rescheduling.
No-Shows
Guests who fail to appear for a scheduled experience without prior notice may be considered a no-show.
No-shows are generally non-refundable.
Weather and Operational Conditions
Romancing Manhattan Tours experiences typically operate in a variety of weather conditions.
In certain circumstances, severe weather or other operational factors may require adjustments to the itinerary, timing, or specific locations visited.
When necessary, Romancing Manhattan will make reasonable efforts to modify the experience in a way that preserves its overall character and quality.
Supplier Changes or Unforeseen Circumstances
Occasionally, circumstances beyond our control — such as venue closures, supplier availability, or city events — may require adjustments to certain elements of an experience.
When this occurs, Romancing Manhattan will make reasonable efforts to provide suitable alternatives.
Refunds
Refund eligibility depends on the specific cancellation terms associated with the experience booked.
When refunds are applicable, they will generally be processed using the original form of payment.
